Boston (and more importantly, what Nathan did while I was away)

I traveled to Boston this past weekend for Heidi's bachelorette party/bridal shower. It was my first overnight away from Nathan. We all survived, and Nathan took advantage of the time I was gone to tackle a major milestone... Walking! He had been taking wobbly steps for a few weeks, but now he is off and running, and loving every minute of it. Video of what I came home to last night (on Youtube, couldn't get it to load directly to the blog)

It was a crazy 36 hours in Boston, fitting in a bridal shower and a bachelorette party. First up was the shower in Brockton, it was a beautiful Fall day in New England. Heidi's mom and sister did an amazing job organizing the event!

Balloons in the wedding colors (cranberry and purple) to greet the guests.

Quack!

Heidi & Jason!

The lovely Gosule ladies.

We had to stop here for Heidi on the way out of Brockton (it wasn't as good as it looked).

After the shower, it was on to downtown Boston for the bachelorette party. We got ready at our swank hotel, then had a tasty dinner at Joe's American Bar and Grill, right on the water. Then it was on to Howl at the Moon, a dueling piano bar. Danielle, one of the other bridesmaids, got us hooked up on the guest list, bypassing the crazy line at 9pm. Thank you again Danielle!

The bachelorette all dolled up for the big night out!

Nothing like big group drinks to get our night started, fun was had by all.
